Who I am
I am a passionate, energetic, results and service-oriented marketing communications professional with a fine balance of strategic thinking, creativity and solid execution. I have developed an innate ability to quickly ‘connect the dots’ and make things happen. As someone who is focused and driven, I believe in the power of a job well done.

I can handle all aspects of integrated marketing communications and brand-building, from strategy through to execution. Clients benefit from my unique blend of client and agency experience acquired from having worked on both sides of the table. My 25+ year career includes marketing communications leadership roles for companies such as Vizible Corporation, Psion Teklogix, Transamerica Life Canada/AEGON Canada and Compaq Canada. During that time I have led the creative development of new corporate and product brands, including “living the brand” internally, based on my belief in and understanding of the power of culture as a core brand driver.
Outside of work, I am an avid runner and cyclist, and loyal member of XSNRG Running Club since 1993. In addition to having completed eight marathons, I’ve been putting my cycling legs to work in the 4-day Tour For Kids cycling adventure since 2005, raising over $27,000 to date. With my marathon “career” behind me, I’ve taken up duathlons, which allow me to combine my love of running and cycling. I’m also a self-confessed chocoholic and chardonnay-lover!
I guess I should also give credit to my McGill University education – a Bachelor of Social Work followed by an MBA – for helping to make me the business person I am.
